In order to further deepen the concept of home-school collaborative education and build a solid bridge for home-school communication, the third lecture of the Parent School for the 2025 grade of the Junior High School Department of the west campus was successfully held in the first-floor lecture hall on January 16th, 2026. With the theme of 'Painting the Future with Love and Caring for the Present with Heart', the lecture was delivered by teacher Lu Fei, who shared insights on key issues such as parent-child communication, strategies for dealing with procrastination, a rational view of academic performance, and ways to alleviate parenting burnout, offering the parents present a highly theoretical and practically instructive educational course.
First and foremost, at the beginning of the lecture, teacher Lu Fei started with the core viewpoint that 'education is never an individual effort alone', comparing teachers and parents to 'two oars' that push a child forward, and profoundly expounding on the significance of both the family and the school having the same goals and actions, which was crucial for a child's growth and success. Meanwhile, Lu Fei emphasized that only by working together and pooling efforts can home and school safeguard children's path to growth.
Furthermore, during the special sharing session, Lu Fei provided systematic solutions to the common pain points faced by parents in family education. Also, at the level of parent-child communication, she proposed the 'three-step communication method' for practical application, which included establishing a correct communication attitude, balancing listening and expression, and giving positive feedback, thus helping parents grasp the underlying logic of efficient communication; besides, for the problem of children's procrastination and slowness, Lu Fei shared the combined strategy of 'task decomposition + positive incentives + time sense cultivation', providing parents with a feasible action guide; moreover, when discussing academic performance, Lu Fei guided parents to abandon the one-sided cognition of 'only focusing on grades', advocating that exams should be regarded as important opportunities to diagnose learning problems and optimize learning methods; in terms of alleviating parenting fatigue, Lu Fei encouraged parents to recognize that parenting is a long-term practice. Therefore, parents should respect the growth rhythm and life topics of their children, abandon the obsession with 'perfect parents', and also pay attention to their children's psychological state and growth needs, truly understanding the educational truth that 'children come because of you, but not for you'.
More remarkably, the lecture venue was well-organized, with parents listening attentively and taking notes carefully, creating a highly conducive learning atmosphere. After the lecture, parents shared their learning experiences one after another, many of whom stated that not only did this lecture update their own educational concepts but also enabled them to master scientific family education methods. Thus, it was an extremely valuable 'charging and empowerment' experience.
In a nutshell, the successful holding of this parent school lecture has effectively established a deep communication bridge between home and school, further consolidating the consensus on joint education by home and school. In the future, our school will continue to deeply explore the collaborative education model between home and school, and regularly carry out high-quality parent school activities, guided by the educational philosophy of 'cultivating hope for every family and creating the future for every student', using professional strength to safeguard the growth of students, and contributing to the cultivation of all-round developed students in the new era.
